Cosmetic Tattooing

Cosmetic tattooing is most often used on the face to enhance eyebrows, eyelashes, eyelids, and lips. It can be used to: Correct small or evident skin imperfections, Create natural-looking hair strokes, Create eyeliner wings, Create lipstick, and Define lips contour.

Cosmetic tattoos are semi-permanent because the epidermis, the first layer of skin, is continually renewing itself. The pigments used in cosmetic tattooing are designed to gradually fade over time, allowing the color and shape of the enhancements to be changed as your skin changes and your style evolves.

Cosmetic tattooing should only be performed by a licensed and certified professional. A poorly trained artist can easily use too much pressure and place the tattoo into the dermis, making it permanent.

What is the tattooing process?
